The Dwight D. Eisenhower High School received approval for SREC funding through the Illinois Solar for All program.
The 946 kW roof-mounted solar array is expected to generate over 29,892 MWh over the next 25 years. That's equivalent to planting over 350,000 trees, or removing 42,368,000 lbs of CO2 from our atmosphere!
This system will have an outstanding impact on the environment and local community, but its financial benefits run even deeper.
Balance Solar expects to save Dwight D. Eisenhower High School over 87% ($3.25 million) on its electricity costs over 25 years.
